Peer Action Groups
Following a successful 6-week programme run by the university to support businesses to recover from the impact of Covid-19, Cultivate set up a series of peer action groups based on the principles of action learning sets. We led the sets and provided guidance on how to provide effective group coaching, developing both the groups’ ability to support each other and the coaching skills of the business leaders involved.

Leadership Coaching Support
As part of the graduate development programme delivered for Fairbanks, we provided 1:1 coaching support for each of the delegates over a period of 9 months. The objective was to support the application of the workshop principles back to the workplace and provide delegates with some personal thinking space to enable any barriers they were facing to be overcome quickly and effectively. Delegates reflected that their coaching sessions had made the difference in encouraging them to apply their learning.

Peer Learning Groups
As part of the Help to Grow Management Programme offered by the University, we provided weekly peer learning sessions for the delegates attending the programme. Over twelve weeks, delegates attended a broad range of leadership and business topics aimed at supporting them to grow their business’s. The objective of the weekly meetings was to enable a fuller discussion about the topics covered and enable delegates to apply that learning more fully to their own business. Delegates reflected that these sessions became the melting pot of the programme with long lasting and crucial challenge based relationships developed between the members.

Our Approach to Mentoring & Coaching
The individual is at the heart of our approach and will determine whether we adopt a mentoring or a coaching approach to discussions.
Sessions are either conducted on a face-face basis or as an on-line meeting.
We would agree with you in advance the number of sessions to be offered and the outcomes you are looking for.
Where appropriate, sessions can be supported by the use of profiling tool, management theory and reading materials.
